Nestled in the quiet village of Kutuh Kaja with rice fields bordering its back, Kubu Santi offers a perfect retreat for an individual or a couple.  It is ideally located away from Ubud’s heavy traffic, yet is still within easy walking distance (1 mile) from the many shops, restaurants and art galleries in Ubud’s lively town center. 

Kubu Santi is built in the typical Balinese open-ceiling style for natural cooling and sense of space. The cheerful living and dining areas are furnished with a sofa (not in view), round dining table, chairs, corner entertainment unit, Samsung flat screen television, and a CD/DVD player.  

Off the open kitchen is a built-in desk with private telephone line, complimentary unlimited broadband internet/Wi-Fi, and a Canon Pixma MP 145 printer/scanner.

The kitchen is fully equipped with hot & cold water, 2-burner gas cooker, Modena microwave oven, LG refrigerator/freezer, toaster, bottled water dispenser, and all the pots, pans, utensils, dishes, bowls, glasses, cups, and silverware needed for any home cooking.

The bedroom is furnished with a hand-carved king-size canopy bed, luxury linens and towels, night stands, built-in shelves, a large mirror in a hand-carved wooden frame, and 3 wardrobes with hotel-style safes.

The en-suite bathroom sports a modern toilet with bidet, large bathtub with hand shower, gas water heater, and a mosaic mirror over the sink.

Relax on the lanai, have a drink, read a book...

Kubu Santi is a perfect home for an extended immersion into Bali's fascinating culture and people.  You will find a ready community of friends and neighbors, eager to help.  Yet, you'll be assured of your privacy.  For writers, Kubu Santi would also be the perfect place to finish writing your book.  Whatever your intention, you will have six months to enjoy living in the Heart of Bali.
